Personal Experience & Biography

Maggie works with adolescents and adults to treat anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship issues, disordered eating, and difficult life transitions. She is experienced in teaching skills for mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. She is also intensively trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a trauma-informed treatment. Through warmth and genuineness, Maggie aims to create a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to express themselves and process life. It is her joy to watch her clients accomplish their goals and access greater flexibility, assurance, and peace.

From Texas Christian University, Maggie earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She went on to earn her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Prior to counseling, Maggie worked in vocational ministry with teens, college students, and young adults. Maggie operates from a Christian worldview and embraces the opportunity to discuss faith, as desired by her clients.
