Personal Experience & Biography

Kennedi is a trauma-informed counselor who takes a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing the deep connection between the mind, body, and spirit in the healing process. She partners with clients to explore patterns of emotion, behavior, and relationship with compassion and curiosity, believing that meaningful change begins in the presence of understanding, respect, and connection. Kennedi views each client as the expert of their own story and works collaboratively to support growth, insight, and emotional resilience.

At Restoration, Kennedi works with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, life transitions, and relational concerns.

Kennedi holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Baylor University. She has clinical experience providing individual and group counseling in community-based and nonprofit settings, including trauma-informed work with survivors of domestic violence. Her clinical work is informed by Adlerian/person-centered therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, attachment-based approaches, play therapy, and holistic trauma-informed care.

Kennedi offers both in-person and virtual sessions in Restoration’s Dallas and Fort Worth offices. Her hope is to walk alongside clients as they develop deeper awareness of their mind, body, and spirit creating space for healing, connection, and a more meaningful life.
