Jordan Sawyer brings her expertise in mental health care to Restoration Counseling with 1.5 years of dedicated practice. She holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma. Additionally, she is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern and a National Certified Counselor. Jordan specializes in adolescent substance use disorder and employs therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, DBT, and Child-Centered Play Therapy, incorporating DBT techniques such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Inspired by the brain’s complexity and its impact on emotions and behaviors, Jordan is committed to building trust and respect in her client relationships. She works with children, adolescents, young adults, and individuals facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and those on the autism spectrum. Jordan offers both remote and in-person sessions in Fort Worth, creating a relaxed and supportive atmosphere where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions without judgment.
