Personal Experience & Biography

Dinah Rowland creates a transformative therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges. Her practice combines Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and evidence-based techniques, infusing appropriate humor to help clients overcome barriers to growth.

With a trauma-informed approach, she specializes in supporting clients through their unique healing journeys. Her work focuses on cultivating deeper self-understanding and improving relationships, while helping clients recognize their inherent worth and strengths. She delights in witnessing clients’ breakthrough moments and supporting their path to authentic living.

Dinah holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the CACREP-accredited Townsend Institute at Concordia University, Irvine. Her experience spans private practice and intensive outpatient/partial hospitalization programs with adolescents. She works effectively with diverse populations, including men, women, young adults, and adolescents.
